Some flights from Dallas to Houston canceled due to winter storm in north Texas

Some flights that were scheduled to leave Dallas airports for Houston airports Thursday morning were canceled amid the snowy weather in North Texas .

Aviation tracking company FlightAware shows live updates on the flight status from Dallas to Houston.

Several airlines such as American, Frontier, Mesa and Envoy Air reportedly canceled some of the flights Thursday as of 10:18 a.m. from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, according to FlightAware. American had four flights canceled, Frontier had one flight canceled, Mesa had two flights canceled and Envoy Air had two flights canceled.

From the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport to William P. Hobby Airport, Envoy Air had three canceled flights, SkyWest had two canceled flights and PSA Airlines had one canceled flight, according to FlightAware.

Six Southwest flights from Dallas Love Field to Hobby were also canceled, according to FlightAware.

News outlets have reported that FlightAware’s data showed nearly 1,300 U.S. flights were canceled.
