TEXAS – Fresh on the heels of a new store opening in Florida, BJ’s Wholesale Club is continuing to expand its retail footprint—this time with a focus on the North Texas market. At least four new locations are planned in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as the club chain prepares to make its entry into the Lone Star State.
According to reports from the Dallas Business Journal, BJ’s Wholesale Club is planning locations of roughly 107,000 square feet in Fort Worth, Waxahachie, and Grand Prairie. This is in addition to a new store in Forney, which is east of Dallas. According to the filings, the estimated construction cost for each store is approximately $9.5 million.
