While most of today will be dry with sunshine, there is a chance for a few storms to develop late this afternoon and evening as the dryline advances across North Texas.
There is a Level 1 (Marginal) to Level 2 (Slight) risk for severe thunderstorms.
The primary threats are large hail and damaging winds.
The storms will start to develop around 4 p.m. in the DFW area and quickly push eastward.
