H-E-B eyes 124-acre lot in North Texas to continue expansion

Since 2021, H-E-B has been promising growth in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex with bigger and better expansions in the work. The San Antonio-based grocery giant has kept its word . Most recently, H-E-B is reportedly eyeing a 124-acre property in a North Texas town, Argyle.

The Argyle Planning and Zoning Commission approved a new zoning for a multi-phase development project on Wednesday, March 5. The property sits on 124 acres at the southwest corner of Interstate 35 and Robson Ranch Road, according to the agenda .

On the site, the Dallas Business Journal reported the mixed-use project could include a 15,000-square-foot H-E-B store and a wellness campus. The property owner Jim Willis said he was in a race with Denton for a new grocery store, the publication reported.
