When it comes to speaking our minds, the folks in Texas usually have no trouble holding back. Straight shootin’, slow talkin’, but always respectful, that’s the Texas way. Now if you grew up in certain parts of Houston, South Dallas, anywhere in Fort Worth, or between Big Springs and San Angelo you might have heard a saying that suggests opinions are like a “certain orifice” of the body.
And while it’s true “everybody has got one” you don’t have to be one to share your opinion. Unless you’re on social media then it’s required (that’s sarcasm and the truth).
All of us love to share our opinions. The problem is there just aren’t enough people in the vicinity for us to share our point of view with. After all, we are observant, we see things, we have expectations, we demand more for our money, and that’s where the “orifice” part of the old saying comes from.
But believe it or not, it is possible to share your opinion without being the “north end of a southbound mule”. And one cruise line that’s very popular with Texas vacationers is practically begging you to share yours but in a timely manner.
