North Texas Weather Update: Storm Chances Rise Tuesday Night with Highs Near 90 Until Thursday

Fort Worth, TX – A stretch of warm and unsettled weather will impact North Texas this week, with temperatures surging into the upper 80s and low 90s across much of the region.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, highs will reach 90°F by Tuesday in both the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and the Waco/Temple/Killeen areas. Rain chances return Tuesday night and persist through Thursday, with scattered thunderstorms possible—especially in areas east of I-35, including Sherman, Paris, and Palestine.

Although Wednesday and Thursday will still see warm daytime highs in the low 80s, storm activity could interrupt travel and outdoor plans. The chance for rain is currently 20% to 30% in most locations, with isolated thunderstorms forecast for portions of Central Texas, including Killeen and Waco…
