Is this really happening again? Another Texas massage parlor is busted for, yep, you guessed it “Human trafficking!” What is up with this? You know the authorities are out looking for shady businesses like this.
At a recent outdoor music festival, the topic of massage therapy came up. Some festivalgoers in the VIP section welcomed a quick neck or back rub from licensed therapists. But when the question came up, “Would you ever go to a massage parlor?” the answers were mixed, seriously.
A few said yes (including me), others, including my boss, said absolutely not. My wife and a co-worker’s wife both said they’d never go. For the record, I’ve gone to chiropractors for years, and yes massage therapy as recommended by my family doctor. And I’ve known a licensed massage therapist who teaches the practice professionally. There are real pros out there. Unfortunately, not all establishments are legit.
