DALLAS — A suspect died in Dallas police custody on Tuesday after complaining of chest pains, officials said.
Officers encountered the suspect around 12:37 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of C.F. Hawn Freeway and North Jim Miller Road, Dallas police said in a press release. Officers ran the suspect’s license plate, which returned two felony warrants for aggravated sexual assault and burglary with intent. Officers initiated a traffic stop, police said.
At the scene of the traffic stop, the suspect, who police did not name, complained of chest pains, the release stated.
