The state is offering a hefty reward for Texas’s most wanted, Trevor Rhey McEuen, 33, who allegedly cut off his ankle monitor this month after being out on bond for a murder charge.
McEuen was arrested in May 2023 for the alleged involvement in the shooting and killing of his neighbor in Forney, Texas, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. His last known whereabouts were near Grand Saline, as he reported to the state.
Warrants have since been issued out of Kaufman County for his arrest for capital murder by terror threat, murder and multiple counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, TXDPS said, adding that on May 6, a warrant was issued out of Van Zandt County for his arrest for arson of a habitation.
In a joint effort, the governor’s office is offering a $10,000 reward, along with Kaufman County Crime Stoppers and the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, each contributing $10,000, bringing the total reward to $30,000.
