On July 23, Central Business District Officers conducted a joint external theft blitz in the 1400 block Main Street, which resulted in six arrests within just four hours. This was the fourth such blitz since November 2024, and these efforts have collectively led to more than 30 arrests. The Department’s proactive engagement in these operations has been instrumental in maintaining safety and reducing theft-related incidents.
Additionally, on August 27, multiple shoplifting incidents were reported, including one involving a subject who was actively threatening the store associates.
