Even before the earliest signs of autumn were on the doorstep, with leaves turning to golds and orange, North Texas’ overload of drive-home traffic was a sign that the final months of non-profit fundraising were out of the gate and headed for the 2025 finish line.
As one guest said upon departing in their vehicle in Kathy and Harlan Crow‘s estate driveway, “Where did all this traffic come from?” Another just-arriving guest with an all-knowing smile said, “They’re back from summer vacations.”
But the big draw at the Crows’ place on Wednesday, August 27, was the SPCA of Texas‘ 2025 Fur Ball patron party. That included foundation types like Rosewood’s Lynn Fisher, Ben Leal of The Addy Foundation and The Dealey Foundation folks including Dealey and Trevor Glenewinkel, Amy Barklage and Pam Dealey Petty…
