On the night of November 5, 2025, Frisco police helped the Texas Department of Public Safety find a vehicle that had evaded troopers and crashed on southbound Dallas Parkway near Warren Parkway. The driver, identified as 24-year-old Marshawn Kneeland of Plano, Texas, left the scene on foot. Police and other agencies searched the area using K-9 and drone units.
During the search, officers received information that Kneeland may have been at risk of self-harm. He was found dead at 1:31 a.m. on November 6, 2025, with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
