DALLAS — A mansion in Dallas’ Preston Hollow neighborhood that’s gone viral for its elaborate Christmas and Halloween displays — and caused traffic issues — is drawing crowds again with its new Grinch theme.
Last year, the extravagant display with decorations ranging from nutcrackers and reindeer to a Santa with now-President Donald Trump’s face on it and lights twinkling from top-to-bottom of the nearly 9,000-square-foot home in the 6200 block of Deloache Avenue went viral and caused major traffic backups.
The house drew such a crowd last year that off-duty Dallas police officers were hired by a third party to help with traffic flow on the street. On-duty officers also had to work eight nights there last holiday season — leading to $25,375 in personnel, vehicle and helicopter costs, according to Dallas police…
