DALLAS — A Dallas man reported missing more than 50 years ago has been identified as the victim of a 1973 hit-and-run in South Texas, closing two cold cases, Dallas police announced Friday.
Norman Prater was reported missing by his family to the DPD on Jan. 14, 1973. Despite an active investigation, the case remained unresolved for decades.
