Deep Ellum in Dallas is like the wild west after the sun goes down. Hang out at your risk when the lights come on. The video below is a great example of that.
Don’t get me wrong – I’ve had many great times in Deep Ellum, most of which involved concerts. But I quickly learned that it’s best to get out of there before midnight, if possible. That’s when the vibe turns from festive to sketchy.
