Carrollton was not where I expected to fall in love with ramen, but JINYA completely changed that for me. Sitting in a shopping center off Old Denton Road, it does not look dramatic from the outside, but the second you walk in, the smell of rich tonkotsu broth lets you know something serious is happening.
Bowls come out steaming, noodles hit that perfect texture, and suddenly the noise of North Texas fades into the background. It feels comforting and exciting at the same time, like finding a favorite spot you did not know you were missing.
