ROWLETT, Texas — A lawsuit says a city of Rowlett sewer failure flooded Primrose School of Rowlett with raw sewage last summer, forcing an emergency evacuation while children were still inside the campus.
The suit says the break happened June 4, 2025, at the school’s Liberty Grove Road location during a city sewer project.
Plumbing began to rumble, and raw “blackwater” sewage backed up through toilets, sinks and floor drains, quickly spreading through classrooms, hallways and the kitchen, according to the lawsuit. Teachers rushed children to safety as parents arriving for pickup were turned away…
