Dallas police arrest wanted man with extensive criminal history

DALLAS, Texas — A 39-year-old man with a lengthy criminal record was apprehended in downtown Dallas, according to the Central Business Division.

On February 12, 2026, the Central Business Division (CBD) received information about Justin Bryan, 39, believed to be in the downtown area. CBD officers coordinated with Downtown Dallas, Inc. (DDI) to locate him. DDI reported that Bryan was seen near the intersection of Akard and Field Streets. The CBD Crime Response Team (CRT) responded and safely took him into custody without incident.

Bryan was arrested on a parole violation warrant issued by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Parole Division and charged with possession of amphetamines. “Our officers are committed to actively locating and arresting individuals who are wanted and pose a threat to our community,” said Major John Madison…
