The Plano City Council on Feb. 23 approved two economic development agreements that boost total funding for AT&T’s new Plano headquarters to $36.7 million, including $20 million from the city’s economic development fund for the current fiscal year.
Council approved a combined $36.7 million economic incentive package with AT&T, including an economic development grant for the new facility and a tax-rebate agreement covering 2030–2045 — the largest incentives package offered to a private corporation in the city’s history.
