Drivers along Interstate 35 in southern Dallas are getting a preview of a major new park taking shape above the highway — one that is now just weeks away from opening to the public.
Halperin Park, located in Oak Cliff, is expected to open on May 9. The project, built over I-35, is designed to offer green space, recreation and sweeping views of the Dallas skyline, while also serving as a catalyst for economic development in the area.
