Oktoberfest is a glorious time that happens for one short month during the year. This fall, that’ll change for DFW. Hofbräu Pub, connected to the acclaimed German brewery born in Munich, is set to offer authentic German fare, a wide selection of traditional beers, and Deutschland fanfare.
Hofbräu is a part of the larger Hofbrauhaus. The German institution traces back centuries to founding of Hofbräuhaus in Munich and Hofbräu München Brewery over 400 years ago.
In 2003, Hofbrauhaus established a U.S. connection, opening its first stateside beer hall in Newport. Presently, Hofbrauhaus has 10 locations throughout the country. Its coming location in Addison, however, will mark a milestone for the company as they debut their new pub concept, a cozy 5,000-square-foot tavern versus the traditional beer hall.
