Café Aroma Opens In Boca Raton

A long‑established Cuban espresso brand has made its cafe debut in Boca Raton. Café Aroma, a family‑owned company founded more than 60 years ago by Cuban immigrants, has opened its first brick‑and‑mortar location at Two Town Center.

The New Jersey‑based brand, best known for Cuban‑style espresso sold in grocery stores nationwide, officially opened the doors on May 29 following a soft launch. The Boca Raton location marks a new chapter for Café Aroma, shifting from retail products to hospitality while preserving the heritage that has defined the company for decades.

“Over 60 years after my grandfather started Café Aroma by selling his then hand‑roasted espresso door to door in New York City, we couldn’t be more proud to follow in his footsteps with the opening of our first café,” says Bernadette Gerrit, Vice President of Café Aroma and granddaughter of founder Rogelio ‘Roy’ Montes De Oca. “Our Boca Raton café is built around the same values that have shaped us from the beginning: quality, culture, and connection.”…
