Pompano Beach, Florida – Pompano Beach’s new downtown will begin with more than concrete, steel and government offices. City leaders say the first major construction project will also open a door for local workers, subcontractors and businesses seeking a share of a development expected to reshape the area’s economy.
That opportunity starts this month, when two community job fairs will introduce residents and contractors to the team building the new City Hall and public parking garage.
The City of Pompano Beach and the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, working with master developer RocaPoint Partners, have selected Suffolk to construct the civic complex.
