The Broward County Sheriff’s Office (BSO) revealed in a news release that a UPS employee has been arrested for allegedly stealing a significant amount of electronics from his workplace. The total value of the items stolen is more than $67,000, BSO acknowledged.

According to the release, Broward County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested 29-year-old Brandon St. Gerard after receiving a tip from UPS on October 2. The tip indicated that St. Gerard was suspected of stealing merchandise over the past few months.

Investigators acknowledged they discovered that St. Gerard had been hiding stolen items within the UPS facility before retrieving them after work.

“St. Gerard was suspected of hiding the merchandise in its Hollywood facility and then retrieving the items and placing them into his vehicle when he left work,” the BSO release said.

On October 3, detectives conducted surveillance at the Hollywood, Florida, facility and arrested St. Gerard after he reportedly ran a stop sign.

Inside St. Gerard’s vehicle, detectives found a large quantity of stolen electronics, including dozens of iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max smartphones, several AirPods, an Apple Watch, and other various items.
