Stunning Sunset Ushers in Breezy-But-Beautiful Week in South Florida, Rip Current Risk Remains

A sunset that peaked out from below a spotty cloud layer was the first sign of what is forecast to be an overall good weather week in South Florida, despite some breezy conditions and a linger risk of rip currents at local beaches. BocaDailyNews’ cameras caught the sunset – granted, an early one at 5:32 p.m. as the days grow shorter – Sunday night at Boynton Inlet and along the beach walk in Delray Beach. We hope you enjoy the view.

While nature’s beauty was on display, it’s wrath remained a risk in the ocean, the National Weather Service said. A rip current advisory remained in effect until 7 p.m. Monday.

“Dangerous” rip currents was expected during the day Monday in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, the NWS warned.
