‘Tesla Takedown’ hits Delray Beach as activists decry Musk’s influence, call for change

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Dozens of protesters held signs outside a Delray Beach Tesla dealership Saturday to voice opposition to its billionaire CEO, Elon Musk.

The protest is part of a larger “Tesla Takedown” movement to encourage shareholders to dump their stock, sell their Teslas and join the picket lines, according to the protest announcement.

“We are taking action at Tesla dealerships, to show our unwillingness to tolerate the presence of Musk’s businesses and products in our communities,” organizers wrote, announcing the protest. “They are symbols of unironic Nazism, white supremacy and violence against immigrants, trans people, and the working class.”…
