Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue successfully rescued a stray dog from a pond yesterday. The dog was spotted by a group of spring breakers renting an Airbnb and was unable to get out of the water on its own, showing signs of distress, according to CW34.
After the group’s attempts to help failed, they called 911 for assistance. Fire crews from Engine 47 responded and safely retrieved the dog. According to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, the dog “refused to leave the water and growled at the group,” prompting the intervention.
