Owner of paralyzed dog arrested after 2 years of alleged neglect

LAKE WORTH, Fla. (CBS12) — A severely malnourished and paralyzed dog was found chained in a Lake Worth backyard, resulting in the arrest of its owner who is accused of neglecting the dog’s care for over two years.

The Palm Beach Animal Care and Control (PBACC) responded to a complaint about a dog, later identified as Wilhelmina, who was found unable to move while tethered in the backyard of a home on December 18, 2024.
