The Coconut Creek Commission began approving changes to the city charter.
During the May 22 meeting, the commission approved an ordinance to amend the city charter as adopted by the city charter review board on April 16 on first reading. It will come up for a second reading at a future meeting and, if approved, will be placed on the November 2026 ballot.
