South Florida Hwy reopens after fiery crash caused closure

On Sunday morning, a collision between a tanker and a passenger bus created a thick cloud of black smoke.

The Florida Highway Patrol said a gasoline tanker traveling westbound on 595, hit a disabled and unoccupied Broward County Transit bus parked on the left shoulder, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported.

The crash and subsequent fire caused rescue crews to close all eastbound and westbound lanes on Interstate 595. The were reopened Sunday night…
