Man turns financial dispute into gunfire in Opa-locka, cops say: ‘Watch what’s going to happen’

OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – A 51-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday after police say a financial dispute in Opa-locka turned violent, with the suspect allegedly firing a gun at another man during a heated confrontation.

Jail records show Yoel Majin Hernandez is facing charges of attempted felony murder with a firearm and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Officers with the Opa-locka Police Department said they responded around 1:45 a.m. to a business near the 4100 block of Northwest 132nd Street after receiving a report of an armed man in the area…
