A man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly pointing a gun and firing at another driver during a road rage incident in Parkland.
According to a Broward County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, Cody Lee Sylvester, 29, of Oakland Park, was taken into custody on July 10 after deputies say he pointed a loaded handgun at another driver while pursuing them through residential neighborhoods and major intersections across the city.
Records show that the encounter began around 8:30 p.m. on July 10, when the victim and his mother were driving along Holmberg Road.
