New Smyrna Beach names William ‘Bill’ Reid of Coral Springs as next deputy police chief

A major with the Coral Springs Police Department and nearly 30 years of experience in law enforcement is set to become New Smyrna Beach’s next deputy chief of police.

The city’s police department announced Friday, July 25 that William “Bill” Reid will fill the position “early September,” according to a Facebook post.
