Broward County, Florida – Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is sponsoring a series of Back to School READY events to make sure that students and families are ready for the 2025/26 school year. The events will happen on Thursday, August 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at three easy-to-reach places throughout the district. The goal is to bring together important resources and assistance in one place.
Families can go to the events at Atlantic Technical College in Coconut Creek, the Arthur Ashe, Jr. Campus in Fort Lauderdale, and Sheridan Technical College in Hollywood. Each campus has been set up to welcome families and offer a wide range of services that are customized to the needs of both new and returning students.
BCPS has set up these events as one-stop shops for all the important things you need to do to get ready for school. Parents and guardians can get help with registration, transportation, and food applications, as well as support with the Focus parent portal.
