A Broward woman who donated her kidney to her best friend is sharing her journey — and why she hopes others will consider doing the same.
Trisha Phillips donated her kidney to her best friend Kimberly in 2016. Kimberly went from dialysis multiple times a week to needing very little medication, thanks to Trisha’s gift.
