Too much rodent dung caused too many parts of a Broward bakery to be shut down

The proliferation of rodent droppings at a Dania Beach bakery prompted state inspectors to halt the making of food and the delivery of new items.

This happened at Lubin’s Classic Bakery, 1466 W. Dixie Hwy./Phippen Rd., on Aug. 14. On Friday, Florida Department of Agriculture inspector Kaitlyn Ford stopped by Lubin’s and put in her report, “The original Stop Use Orders and Stop-Sale Order issued on 8/14/2025 remain in effect.”
