A toddler was hospitalized after suffering serious burns from spilled hot tea Wednesday afternoon, according to Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue.
Paramedics were called to Memorial Pembroke 24/7 Care around 2 p.m. after receiving a call that the boy, who is thought to be around two years old, was badly burned. His mother brought him in with burns to the lower right side of his body, the fire department said.
