Pompano Beach is gearing up for a visual spectacle as the city prepares to host its fourth annual Drone Show Extravaganza on Veteran’s Day Weekend, Saturday, November 8. Festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. with live entertainment, including a DJ and a band to rev up the crowd. As the sun sets at 7:00 p.m., the main event will commence, painting the night sky with light, color, and motion. The drones are set to create intricate animations and formations, to not only honor our nation’s veterans but also celebrate the local maritime flair. The city’s website promises, “Bigger. Brighter. Bolder.”
Spectators can enjoy the show for free and are encouraged to gather on the south side of the Pier. Visibility of the soaring drones is expected to span up to five miles, ensuring the show can be appreciated by as many people as possible. Although the Fisher Family Pier itself will be closed for safety, the display is designed for wide-reaching visibility…
