Broward County, Florida – On Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, most county government offices in Broward County will be closed. Broward.org will still be able to help with many important services and online options, even though in-person activities will be suspended for the holiday.
People should remember that the 311 Call Center and the Homeless Helpline will not be open during the holiday. However, the Homeless Helpline will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 954-563-4357 for limited after-hours help.
The NSU-Alvin Sherman Library is the only one that will be open. All other branches of the Broward County Library system will be closed. Residents can still use digital resources like online catalogs, e-books, audiobooks, and streaming media 24 hours a day, seven days a week…
