Broward will be the latest in a string of Florida counties installing vehicle registration renewal kiosks in Publix locations — including one in Coral Springs.
Traditional options such as in-person and online renewal are still availble, but the machines have a speed advantage, as they don’t require waiting in line or for the registration sticker to come in the mail.
The South Florida Sun Sentinel reported kiosks will pop up in four other Publix stores in Hollywood, Coconut Creek, Plantation and Cooper City, according to a spokesperson for Broward Tax Collector Abbey Ajayi.
