Saddle up, city slickers — Spitfire Farm in Coconut Creek is trotting out its Winter Break Camp to be sure to make young horse lovers say “giddy-up.”
Now in its fifth year, the locally loved equestrian haven offers more than just riding. Campers can expect daily rides, hands-on horsemanship lessons, nature walks, arts and crafts, and downtime in a newly added air-conditioned clubhouse — because even cowpokes need a cool break.
The Winter Camp is held on Dec. 23, 26–27, and Dec. 30–31, and continues on Jan. 2–3. “Before care” and “aftercare” are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and families with multiple little wranglers can take advantage of a 10 percent sibling discount…
