ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. — A Pompano Beach truck driver has been arrested on a murder charge after he was initially stopped by St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office deputies in connection with a report about a “suspicious person.”
According to authorities, deputies responded to the area of South Rock Road, behind the Pilot Truck Stop in Ft. Pierce at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, after receiving a 911 call about a suspicious person in the area.
Deputies said they arrived to the area and found Olson Jean, 41, of Pompano Beach, near a semi-truck that appeared to have went off the roadway into a ditch while trying to turn around.
“During the preliminary investigation, deputies observed blood inside the cab of the semi-truck near the passenger-side door, as well as blood on the exterior passenger-side area of the vehicle,” the sheriff’s office stated in a post on social media. “An extensive area search was conducted as the investigation continued.”…
