BSO: EMT sends ex-girlfriend letter with bullet casing inside; places tracking device in car

PARKLAND, Fla. — A South Florida EMT was arrested this week on accusations that he stalked and harassed his ex-girlfriend, authorities confirmed.

According to an arrest report from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Jakir Hasan, 23, of West Palm Beach, was arrested Wednesday on charges of aggravated stalking/harassment/cyberstalking and illegally installing a tracking device.

A deputy wrote in the report that he met with the victim Wednesday in Parkland who reported that Hasan, who is her ex-boyfriend who she dated for about two years, has been harassing her through text messages, handwritten letters and social media posts…
