“Irate” Mom Arrested After Allegedly Throwing Gatorade in Middle School Principal’s Face

A Florida mom was arrested for allegedly throwing Gatorade into a principal’s face during school dismissal.

On March 10, Diliana Quintana-Avila was charged with battery on a school employee, disrupting an educational institution, and resisting arrest without violence.

The 40-year-old mom had entered Norland Middle School in Miami Gardens and allegedly threw the contents of a Gatorade bottle in the face of Assistant Principal Tiffany Hayes, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by Oxygen.com.

Hayes told police in the affidavit that she had been standing by her post during school dismissal around 4 p.m. when she saw Quintana-Avila walking quickly toward her and the entrance of the school. Hayes said in the document that she walked up to the Quintana-Avila and asked, “How can I help you? Parents are not allowed in the building after 3:20 p.m.”…
