Coconut Creek families are invited to an exciting Touch-A-Truck event to explore a diverse lineup of police cars, fire-rescue vehicles, public works trucks, and buses.
It will take place on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Butterfly Lot, 5280 NW 40th Street. The first hour will be sensory-friendly, with no loud noises.
Touch-A-Truck will be free to the public, and attendees will be encouraged to touch and climb aboard a variety of vehicles in a safe, comfortable environment. Children will be allowed to sit in a fire truck cab and then talk with firefighters. They will have the opportunity to learn about how utility and construction vehicles work.
