Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Drivers and pedestrians who use South Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale should expect a long stretch of construction activity as Broward County moves ahead with a major bridge repair project designed to improve both safety and the condition of the roadway.
According to the county, work is set to begin Monday, April 13, along South Andrews Avenue between Davie Boulevard and Southwest 11th Street.
The project will include replacement of the concrete bridge barrier walls, reconstruction of the sidewalk, and milling and resurfacing of the roadway.
