Drivers rolling through Flagler Village on Wednesday morning got an abrupt wake-up call when Fort Lauderdale fire crews hit the scene of a high-rise blaze along the 600 block of N. Andrews Avenue, shutting the street in both directions. Motorists were quickly urged to use other north-south routes while firefighters worked.
