A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 95 on Tuesday afternoon resulted in the death of a Vero Beach woman and left two others injured, according to an official press release from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Troop D.
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 5:03 PM on June 9, 2026, in the southbound lanes of I-95 at mile marker 231, located just north of Deering Parkway.
According to crash investigators, four vehicles—a 2023 Acura RDX, a 2026 Chevy Equinox, a 2021 Ford F-150, and a 2007 Buick LaCrosse—were all traveling in the inside southbound lane of I-95.
