Community Foundation to award $6.5M grants to 177 Palm Beach, Martin County nonprofits

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties announced it will award more than $6.5 million to 177 nonprofits throughout the region.

The investment marks the largest grantmaking effort in the foundation’s 54-year history, representing both the highest dollar amount awarded and the greatest number of nonprofit recipients funded in a single grant cycle.

“The impact of our competitive grant process extends far beyond the dollars awarded.
