FORT PIERCE – Fort Pierce City Commissioners Michael Broderick says he believes a shadow “puppet master” is influencing some city officials to push large, new developments on South Hutchinson Island past the zoning standards that stand in their way.
And he claims his opposition is prompting personal threats, including to his Fort Pierce commercial real estate business.
In an exclusive interview with Hometown News, Broderick said a citizen-led initiative is being planned that could remove South Hutchinson Island from the City of Fort Pierce.
